This policy explains what personal information we collect through afterdarkmedia.com.au, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you send a brief or enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and the details of your enquiry.
- Information collected automatically. Our host and CDN (Cloudflare) processes limited technical data such as your IP address and browser type to serve and secure the site. If we enable analytics it is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across other sites.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver the work you ask for, and stay in touch about it. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox through a transactional email provider (Resend). We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site. These providers process your data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information where required by law.
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers (including Cloudflare and Resend) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States.
Storage and security
We hold your information securely and keep it only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, then delete it.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cookies that are strictly necessary for security (for example, Cloudflare's bot protection on our form) may be set when you interact with the form.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to delete it. Email info@afterdarkmedia.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
